Jawbreaker fragging?

Hi all!!;)
Do you guys frag those mushrooms that only show a little bit of red? Also when you do does the red extend out along with the mushrooms or just stay there.
Here is an example an orange complete and one with just a little bit of red. Also would the orange one get red after fragged?
Thanks in advance for;)

jawbreakers do not like getting fragged. you're better off waiting for natural splits. they usually leave fragments of their feet pretty frequently, at least in my experience. color is always going to be lottery.

I know they will get you babies but I don’t think they will split, I know cutting the feet will get you a baby but it won’t change the mother color if it’s orange or orange and a little red only
Did you ever tried cutting it?

sorry, by natural splits i meant babies. also color is always a lottery, i find that red usually comes in more as they grow bigger but its always a crap shoot, i dont think cutting them will elicit any color inducing effects.

i have tried cutting them back in the day and it melted.

I had one that was awesome RED on one wide and totally plain on the other. I fragged it down the middle and confirmed my past experience. Jasbreakers, while so awesome looking, are also so sensitive!
LOST the RED Side and Yellow side remained yellow and took forever to grow after being split!

What works better is....come back at night when all closed up and slice a portion of the mothers foot off and it will quickly grow into a new baby jawbreaker. (10-days to 2 weeks times)

Good Luck

I guess I will have to just pick and choose what goes in a little garden I’m trying to create…

Yeah, I agree with the other, I have never cut them and I wouldn't recommend it. Colors are completely random and can take years to even come out.
