JBJ Auto-topoff issue

Hey guys, Having a issue with the JBJ ATO(surprise surprise). It worked fine for the first month but now I find that switch A(in sump) will light up as well as the pump light but water will not be pumped. If i switch from mode B to A or unplug the unit then it works...WTH! Pump is an aqualifter if that matters. Any suggestions??

I've had two JBJ ATO's and the only problem I've had with them was the aqualifter.

Toss the aqualifter and get a Maxi-jet and ball valve to adjust the flow. The Aquaifter has a tendency to flake out after some time, and will not pump enough water and the ATO will time out (safety feature to prevent floods).

what size maxi jet would you reccomend?

I would still get something more reliable, either a maxi-jet or I now use a BRS 50ml/min. dosing pump for my ATO.

i had the same issue a while back. but mine was corroded wires where it attaches to the float. I had to replace both floats. I run a maxijet 600 on mine with no issues.
