Keeping my dkh at the same level

So I was at a fellow members house and he said alkalinity is key keeping it at the same level is key he said shoot for 8.0dkh and keep it there sound right?
Next after some tweaking I found my sweet spot
9/28 dkh 6.4 added 1.5 brs soda ash
9/30 dkh 7.0 added 1.5 brs soda ash
10/1 dkh 7.0 added 2.0 brs soda ash
10/2 dkh 7.0 added 2.5 brs soda ash
10/3 dkh 8.0
So now what. I have it right where I want so how can I keep it there any help would be great
All my test are same time every night with Red Sea test kit can I add kalkwasser if so how much

Side note my ca is around 420 is that high enough? I would think it should be a little higher maybe 450 brs is telling me with a 105 total water I need to add 332 ml now I know that I should NOT do this all at once but should I do this or just leave it alone until I get my alkalinity squared away

Here is the problem, when you add alk you are dropping calcium and if you added all the calcium (not at once but over a few days) you will lower your alk. You need to start dosing them together to bring them up together.

sounds good to me i was using brightwell A @ B but i was going through it like crazy so i was told this is a little easier so im a little new with the BRS now say i get them where i want them dkh 8.0 and calcium around 450-480 what can i do to keep it stable? My guess is I have to first find out what my tank consumes everyday then go from there.

Yup daily dosing and daily testing will get you right into range.
