Anyone have these over their tank? I'm curious if two would be enough for a 4 foot tank, footprint is 48 long, 24 wide and 27 inches deep.

Hi, I have 2. My tank is 48x24x24. The spread is fine. As many of the reviews says, their are shadows at the edges, but I like that.

Good to hear, i'm not worried about shadows, i'd actually prefer a few so i can keep a few lps in there as well, i've had to stick my favia in the back corner where he can't be seen too well just because the light bleaches him.

I also have 2 in my 90gal tank.. I have them on an apex controller and have not gone past a 65% intensity setting/65% white setting yet. I have them ramping up/down. I don't have much to compair them too, but so far so good. I did have to create a few overhangs to stick some of my corals under that weren't so happy on the bottom of the tank in the sand with the light. Seems to be working so far and also my algae just loves growing under these :) But thats a different issue...

I plan to once I defeat my algea issues as well. I don't see it as being an issue a number of high profile places are using them for grow out. You can see videos on there web site. As far as LED. I think they have the best technology, unlike others who have a multitude of LEDs for color kessil has it all on one which allows for the shimmer and lack of the rainbow affect as seen with other LEDs.

We just setup the 160we on our 30g cube and I am very impressed with it so far. We only have softies right now but they all look amazing under the light. I was always skeptical of Kessil but now I really like them.
