My new Carpet anemone....

First day in the tank 5 inches 2nd day in the 10 - 12 inches and eating anything that comes his way... 3 days in the tank 12 inches and been in the same place and tentacles vibrating like crazy. Ate Some Rods food on the second day and a couple straggling mysis this morning.

Long story behind the carpet and its an amazing one. Heres a tidbit this anemone was ripped down the middle when the first owner moved some rock. Since december it has completely healed and doubled in size.

I've been looking for awhile and a guy in cliffside park had one and didn't even know what it was.

I've also noticed that the tentacles vibrate constant. Every time I fed it, its stickyness is unbelievable. It grabs the metal tongs I feed it with and I have to give it a strong giggle to detach.

The clown has yet to enter it. She stays mostly on the outskirts.

Shaggys size is growing and with that comes the removal of some of my bubbletips.

I have a the Purple base to get rid of. Im not gonna sell but if someone wants to trade it ill do it. It needs PC's not MH or T-5. Its a low light bubbletip.

I've been look for this carpet for months. The purple bubble tip I found needs low light and the t5 are too much. It needs a new home asap

and so the expansion and final resting spot begins.

This morning the gigantea got into the slowest war i have ever seen with one of my RBTAS. Now my Rbtas are all huddled to getting far enough away.

I got stung today by the gigantea on my fingers. its almost feels like a small electrical shock.

My girlfriend thinks its peach, I think its tan. Its peach...

That is the clown i got from blue zoo aquatics. That little guy is honey brown unlike his elder lady whose deep brown. Nice looking fish unforutnately he begin to darken as he matures. His second stripe goes all the way up his fins so hes dev juvenile and still a male. She accepted him right away and he was shivering like crazy for her.

Around 12 oclock during the day the anemone is probably close to 13-14 inches across. These anemones require almost crashing waves over the top. The flow is supposed cause the outer disk to lift up.

I would like to possibly get a blue or purple one. But then its goodbye to all my frags and bubbletips.
