Lighting for a 46 bow

I was at Red Sand yesterday and I encountered a member (Magic.) He was saying that T5's were the way to go. What is a good fixture for a 36" bow? Keep in mind it has to be cheap. ;)

depends on what your final goal of reef setup you want to setup- lps, sps, softies, fish only mix
also cost do you want to pay for t5s each bulb for 5-6 bulbs
mh single bulb change every 5-6 months plus supplement

Unfortunately things in this hobby are rarely cheap - but that's one great thing about the club - we participate in group buys and our sponsors help out with discounts too. Definitely think about it...
