Lighting for my 155 bow tank

I just purchase a used 155 gallon bow 72x24x24. It came with a fixture that has 3 MH 250 watt with not extra VHO or power compact. The two outside are 10K and the middle is 20K. The fixture is about 8 inchs above my tank. I also have a 3 inch sand band with about 125 lbs of LR in it.

OK, here is my question I am looking to do a mix reef with SPS and LPS will this configuration work or should I replace my 10K to 14K. I don't really care for the heavy yellowish outer part of the tank because of my 10K but if that is what my SPS or LPS needs than who care what I like as a personal preference of a full blue water.

What ever advice anyone can share would be greatly appreciated.

10k's are better for sps coral growth than 14k's are so i would keep what you have. the lower k you go, the better the growth rates. 6500k is great for growth but yellow as hell...20k, the reverse.

Ya if you want growth then stick with the 10k bulbs. The only thing I would do with that setup is maybe change the middle blub. if your gonna stick to 10k, you might as well change the middle to 10k as well. That way all the bulbs are unison and you wont get yellowish white on the edges and whitish bluish in the middle. IMO, having different kelvin looks kinda off..

O, and isn't 72x24x24 a 180 dimensions???
