Has anyone ordered from liveaquaria.com? They are the fish wing of Drsfosterandsmith.com. They have great fish in the WYSIWYG section but not sure if I should order from them.

I'm sure you'll get mixed feedback on this one. We've ordered quite a few fish from them and never had any problem. Their corals are hit or miss but fish always seem to do well.

Fish from what i have heard they are pretty good at.

Remeber with Inverts they photograph all there corals and anemones under 400 watt 20K MH.

I bought two anemones from them and neither lived longer then a week.

In my experience with them, I agree w/John. Fish: no problem, Coral:questionable.

i agree with newsalt and john... i have ordered both from them a Miami orchid/open brain which are both doing very well.. they are pricey though maybe you can order for a better price from a local vendor who gets nice fish just to save you shipping but even that i a lower chance of getting good quality but liveaquaria.com does have great looking fish for one fish your shipping will be about 40.00 don't know if that stays the same with the amount of fish ordered... but all in all great quality

Major complaint from them is the shipping fee (one of the most expensive aside from their cleaner pack which is free shipping but you don't get to choose what you want). Also kinda funny you have to pay shipping charges for fish and inverts separately (guess different facilities). Fish usually very good but better value elsewhere (both locally and online). Their WYSIWYG is really nice but pricing is through the roof.

Thank you guys for the responses. We were thinking about getting a pistol shrimp/goby combo from them because I cannot find them in the local LFS. We will have to think about this.

You can special order from your LFS. Pistol/Goby combo is not that rare. Most LFS get them in all the time but they also move pretty fast.
