Loc Line?

Is there a way to connect 3/4" loc line fittings to PVC. I'm sure you can do it, but I spoke to Marine Depot and they said they don't sell anything. Any one done this with success?

Thanks. I don't know why marine depot wouldnt carry anything. Knew there had to be a way, just didnt know how.

i think Lowes have it, just bring your Loc Line fitting to lowes to ask some one servicing that area, you most likely will be able to find the parts you need.

Ended up using a little teflon tape and fittings went on the end of 3/4" pvc. I don't know of any problems teflon tape can cause over time if it breaks down, but the fittings are on. Any thoughts on the teflon tape?

I would spend the $0.99 and get the threaded connector. JMO

The teflon wont break down unless you are repeatedly moving the parts on and off...

aside from that, it's inert, so no problems there

It's not the cheap thing. The way I have my plumbing set up I don't have threads at the end caps. It would mean redoing the ends of my return lines, or a little teflon tape.

As long as the ends are all submerged it should be fine. I would just hate to see it pop off and start a hose all over your carpet!

Even if they pop off all the water is still directed in the tank the way I've had it for the past few months. Just added them for a little more versatility.
