Has anyone ever set up a tank with creatures from the ocean or bays. I remember seeing gar (pipefish ) jellyfish small fish in the bay and ocean along with clams, mussels and crabs. I suppose none would survive for long periods, but it would be interesting

I've wanted to do this for a long time. I did do hermits and macro algae but got sidetracked and eventually release everything before it got too cold. I was inspired by "coldwater marine" on facebook. I could see one in my future too. I'm pretty sure its doable. People use old lobster tanks from supermarkets. In Raritan Bay I've seen seahorse and gobbies in seine nets

These are in their own tank, i am not going to risk adding something to my tanks that might wipe them out. PAULB mainly grabs pods and NSW, but also has far more experience in his pinky than most in the hobby.. He is inspiring.
