Thinking about plumbing a 10 gallon tank in to add more macro algae. I plan on tapping off of my manifold for water and drilling a hole in 10 gallon tank to have it drain back into sump via gravity. Anyone have any ideas how I can make a small overflow box for the 10 gallon or does anyone have access to a 3d printer to make a small one just to keep the macro from clogging the hole?
One other idea would it be better to plumb the supply lines to the bottom of the 10 gallon this way there is flow underneath the algae and have it flow back into sump from top. Or just run the hose into the top of the tank TYIA
