@trio91 started the conversation on maybe updating our website. If you would like to be on the committe please comment in this thread and @kschweer will work on adding members to the web committee forum.

You don't need to know what is going on in the below picture to be on the committee. Even if you have no tech skills you are still welcome to help out.

I have not heard about geocities in years lol. With the cost of things one can get their own server on AWS for like $10 a month.

When I had a geocities site I had blinking text, Tigers, and other stuff. I used notepad as well with html. I now run an apache server on my raspberry pi and I do my code in html, PHP, and python. Now this hosted inside (no access from out of my home network)

Sadly I didn't keep up with new languages. I did average grades with C++ in college and then realized programming wasn't for me and went back to accounting lol. I would be interesting in learning / helping though. I gave up when flash hit the scene. Aren't you building the rasberry pi monitored. That would be interesting as well.

I have not learned C++ but I learned C# and ASP.NET which I developed a system for the college I went to in (they are still using it now even though it needs to be upgraded lol)

Yes my Pi is my controller. That is why I locked it so I can only access it from my home network.

Previous life was a graphic artist for many years. I can make Illustrator and Photoshop cook me breakfast.
If you guys need any graphics or artwork done I'd be happy to help.
Also, as this comes together if we want to update the site logo, let me know. I'll format it and forward it to whomever.
