Folks, if you've recently upgraded or renewed your annual club membership but it's still not active, please reach out to the BOD or a moderator. The PayPal system has a slight bug which it doesn't allow it to activate the account on it's own.
I am looking for a 90 gal w/ overflow, stand and canopy in rosewood. I live in Central NJ (Red Bank). Is there any place other then Tropaquarium that has a good selection of tanks?
Trop sells tanks at or near cost. You can ask them for quotes on certain styles. Perhaps you are interested in the Oceanic Ultimate or Tech series. Those are nice tanks that cost slightly more than a Perfecto or AGA. Tenecor has nice ones but they aren't cheap. I would advise on going to 120G if you can tolerate the footprint. It's easier to aquascape in a 2 feet wide rather than an 18". I would also say a 6' tank gives you better fish options over a 4' one.
I agree, but I started thinking 36gal, then i went to 50 gal, then after 10 minutes in the fish store today I was at 90 gal. I think 90 gal is as big as I want to go for now.
Try one of our sponsors. Either Aquatic Obsessions, Ocean Gallery II, Red Sand, AllQuatics or the Hidden Reef. IMO, they support the club so we owe it to them to give them the first shot.
BTW, it may get a little confusing having this same question in two different forums. You may want to have the other one closed so that you can keep all of your responses in one place.
a standard 75 is the same demensions as a standard 90 except the 90 is taller. unless your planning on using halides or going FOWLR i suggest the 75 as it would be easier to light with just T5s.
