Mag Drive 9.5

I have a mag 9.5 return pump in my sump and was wondering if anyone knows of a quieter pump that produces the same amount of volume. This pump is a little louder than I expected and can be somewhat of a nuisance when you are trying to read.

pentair Aquatics quiet one 4000, they use less energy and are quieter than the mag drive pumps.

For what it is worth..I placed some pond liner(rubber mat) under my pump(mag 12) and I cannot hear it. I see some of them come with a foam pad and some don't in any case if you don't have one then give something a try. I read that as a criticism of the pumps.

I'm using a 9.5 with little rubber feet and it's not load at all

Problem fixed! Thank you! I gave the pump some rubber lining and it is much quieter now. Thanks for the suggestion.
