magnesium levels

my levels are at 1050. the test i'm using says it should be between 1300-1500. i have a liquid magnesium suppliment; however, it does not have directions for dosing. What do you recommend???

My directions say"

Add 1.5 ml per gallon of aquuarim capacity per day until desired level is reached

The above dose will raise mag. level by approximatly 15ppm per day.

that sounds like it will take a pretty long time. is this the only way?

Safest way is to do it slowly.

Do the recommend first and see what the reading is, if it doesn't raise it enough you can easily double the dose with out any ill affects.

Which product do you have? I wouldn't use the dosage from another product as they have different strengths.

Also 1300 is fine give or take 50 ppm (1250-1350). You don't need it any higher then this.
