Magnesium Test Kit suggestions

It is time for me to replace the Mag test kit. I currently use Salifert, not very impressed with their rigid instructions. Does anyone have experience with any other brand? Any recommendations?

Besides testing for the usual Alk, Mag, Ca, Nitrates & Ammonia, what else do you all test? Like Silica, Potassium etc. Does anyone test these?

I have been using the Elos tests for about 6 months. Not too bad, that is the kit i have been using since i started my tank, for all my levels.
