Marine sciences students?

Kay, so, it's been a little while since I've posted, and I'm just kind of curious. I took the plunge last quarter and started to take some of the more "bleh" courses I would need for transfer into Rutgers School of Environmental and Biological Sciences. Precalc was an utter disaster (not for the reasons you would think but because I'm apparently "not welcome on the curve" according to my teacher who pretty much spent the entire quarter complaining about Brookdale).

But, since I'm going to be spending 6 glorious hours next quarter with nothing to do between classes on Mondays and Wednesdays, I was kind of wondering... anyone else on here studying marine sciences? If so, what are your interests (aside from the obvious reef studies! C'mon, this is a reef club forum afterall) if you want to specialize in anything?

Just wondering, I'm 14 and already looking at majors/future jobs for college, what types of jobs would a Marine Scientist get because of their expertise? Preferably any choices that would make a decent amount of $.

Thanks,
Steve

lol Another bad precalc instructor. Mine complained that we weren't as smart as his students at the other school he taught at. They were always so much farther ahead. One day I had enough and asked if he wrote more clearly for his other school. Most people's grades suddenly went up after that.

LMAO. *golf clap* Very nice.

Once I realized that this particular precalc class was going to be a walk in the park because of teaching style, I started to slowly migrate from the front of the room to the back. By the middle of the semester, I was camped out in the back of the room with my nose in one of the Shadowrun books. She kind of gave up on me about as much as I gave up on her, which culminated in her telling another student and I that we didn't have to even show up for the final exam to pass the class.

What is it with precalc teachers? This is the second bad one I've had, and, like yours, I've NEVER heard of a good precalc teacher.
