Marineland Pro 100 skimmer?

so I've had this for like a month now and cannot seem to get it to dial in i keep getting dirty water skim and not gunk. what way should i be turning the knob?

I don't know about this brand.
You have to lower the water level in the neck.

Google for this skimmer, i had one and found alot of threads on it on other sites, its a good skimmer mine worked well. You can also lower and raise the water height in the sump to adjust the unit.
