He is a German shorthaired pointer. We get him later today. He is a show dog and just got two ribbons this weekend at his first show. He still isn't trained yet for the ring, but he still managed to get a lot of compliments.

Ive had pointers all my life, i saw this post on RC. Good luck hes a beauty.

Anytime he needs to run around ive got a almost two year old female he can run with.

Do you have plans of showing him? Now that's a whole world unto its own! He's adorable. How old is he (at least 6mo, by the fact that he's in the show ring, no)? He looks pretty big in the photos.

He is 70ish pounds right now. He is 1 year old. The breeder bought him back due to the original owner not being able to walk (she was 65 years old with a bad ankle) and these are high energy dogs. Jess will be showing him until his championship and I am probably going to try field trials with him. The show this weekend was a lot of fun.

Reefernets, I saw the pics of your two on rc. I didn't realize it was you over there. lol...

I like pointers and boxer so much i got two dog mixed with them.

I think we need to have a NJRC dog meeting up at a dog park

We go every saturday and sunday to the one in essex county on South Orange Ave.
