I work retail and find it funny how many people get upset when we have to say happy holidays, instead they reply with MERRY CHRISTMAS.

If someone says Merry Christmas you should be allowed to respond Merry Christmas if it moves you (or Happy Kwanza, etc... if that's your holiday of choice). I certainly understand that if you're going to lead the charge then you should start with the generic season greeting.

Merry Christmas to those celebrating.
