Mh/T5ho combo opinions wanted

I saw this in another site and was a bit interested in it for the upcoming build. Just looking for opinions. here is the fixture

My first concern is the lack of a fan, with everything internal I would think it would get pretty hot inside that case, no?

IMO you're better off going with a better fixture. I'm pretty sure you're going to have to replace the bulbs which will run you $100-150. I have also heard of people switching out the ballasr on cheaper fixtures like this too. What size are you looking for? You can usually pick up used MH fixtures pretty cheap. MH/T5 are usually harder to find.

I don't remember what size tank you have, but two of these on a 4 foot tank would be plenty.

Picking one up at the swap from ultracorals. Gonna put it above my 44gal corner. If I like it I'll get another for the 75 build.
I've all but ruled out the mh/t5 above. Still considering a 6-8 bulb T5 though.
