Microbubbles in my tank - (Seaclone skimmer)

Looking for advice on how to get rid of the tons of microbubbles in my 30G tank.

I've tried adjusting the water height for the return tube, no difference.

I see some bad reviews for the seaclone skimmer, is this the most likely culprit? It does produce some skimmate so I guess it "works". Any recommendations??

Could this also be why I've had a hard time getting my phosphates and nitrates under control??

I didn't know that was the skimmer your using. I have one for you in my garage. It will take me a few days. Josh is back in the Hospital. He is stable now. But about 7 pm he got something stuck in his throat and turned blue. Thank God my wife did mouth to mouth and saved his life. Say some prayers for us.
