looking for a mini fridge, nothing fancy as i am going to poke holes in it. i am going to try and make a DIY chiller...trying to keep costs below $50 bucks if possible.

how much is the tubing for inside the fridge going to run you and what are you using?

not sure, it's all gonna be a pure experiment. anything ill do will be a lot cheaper than buying anything that's out there on the market

any suggestions? ive been thinking about this for a long time but i do not see myself spending 5-6 hundred dollars on a chiller

i know most condenser setups use copper tubing, i'm unsure if it will leach or not, i've never looked into it. if that doesn't work some sturdy tubing like you would use on a reactor, the plastic stuff, might work as long as it doesn't kink. beyond that i'm unsure at this time. do you have a setup that will allow you to turn a pump on and off related to the temp? like an apex setup with a pump and you can command it to turn off if the temp is say greater than 80 and turn off if less than 79?

I still believe it will work like the video suggested. . Whith a 100 feet of water being cooled should lower water temp a little . I don't believe it will be drastic . That's why we have peopen willing to try...Just remember Edison failed on the light bulb 100 times . So good luck. By the way only truths on the interwebs....
