Missing Shrimp

So, up until tuesday we had 5 shrimp in my 20g tank, a pair of cleaners, a pair of fires, and a tiger pistol. The fires had been with a pistol and a pair of cleaners prior to our tank crash, and the fires and cleaners all survived the tank crash. The pistol is a recent aquisition. So, I came home from work on tuesday and there is no trace of one of the two cleaners. None. Generally, when they molt, their exoskeleton is around for about 24 hours- but not even that was visible. It dissapeared without a trace. I have NO IDEA what happened. The shrimp was larger than any of the fish in the tank, and larger than the more-agressive fires.
Has anyone else had something like this happen? Does anyone have any insight?
RIP cute cleaner shrimp :(

I have one cleaner and one peppermint shrimp, specifically the cleaner vanished for just short of a week the last molt. The peppermint appears at random intervals. I wouldn't write it off yet.

+1 on the molting. They will usually hide for awhile until the new shell is totally grown in.

Darn it, I knew I should have thrown out the cocktail sauce. . .
In all seriousness though, unfortunately, I really don't think it was a molt. I've had these guys for a while, generally, when they molt the molt is on the bottom of the tank, and the shrimp does hide, but still comes out to be fed. . . no dice this time. Also, with the rearranged rockwork, I don't really think there is anywhere for it to hide where I can't see it.
