My lil 6 line wrasse is in my overflow...suggestions??

He's pretty small, so this task seems abit tough. So, I need some advice from those who have experienced this before. Got the durso drain and return and my heater in there.

Take your net and pull on it to enlongate it and it will fit between the pipes to get the fish,or theres always the hand in the overflow trick that works good

Ok...so i am not as sharp as I thought an now my Nem and jawfish are in teh overflow. I attempted to remove the durso and all I did ewas loosen up te bulkhead fitting and cause a leak. It took me hours to tighten to where there were no more leaks. No I am going in somehow to catch them all.

yeah - i've had that happen. Removing the durso worked for me once in flushing my firefish into the sump.

What other fish are in the tank and what size? jumping into the overflow could be a sign of somethign frightening the fish causing them to go. The good news is that they are in the overflow. The bad news is that next time they could be on your carpet.

I think it may be the Dragon wrasse. Though he is really small, he has the attitude of a large dragon wrasse. But why and how did my nem crawl up and over the overflow...he must of exposed himself to air for awhile. Just need some ideas on how to get em out.

You can empty out your overflow but not complety thou leave 1-3 inches of water in order to catch him. I did this when my clown jump on to my over flow and it worked fine for me.

I also did a DIY cover net for my overflow check the picture. I used mesh coral glue and ear cotton and tie wraps. The reason i used coral glue was for the sizes by the over flow.
