I have started my first new saltwater aquarium. I used a 10 gal display tank. With 10 lbs of cured live rock and a 2. To 3" deep sand bed. The display tank was started at the beginning of jan. I added a dump about a month later with 4 additional galons. There is approx 2 lbs of live rock in the sump. I also use a hob protein skimmer that's advertised for up to 30 gal. My current stocking level is 2 occelaris clowns, 2 large nass sails, & 1 tiger pistal shrimp. Corals include several verieties of zoanthids, a frogspawn and some green star polyp. I also inadvertently ended up with some blue snowflake polyps, that are realy spreading. All corals are small frags. I did have a resent loss. My yellow watchaman goby that was living with my tiger pistal. after 1 and a half month of being inseperable. From the tigger pistal. The began to spend more and mor time out of the dugouts. Then one day it started darting around in open water. Attempting to jump. The last 2 days it suddenly stopped feeding. Before the it had a vey good appetite. The next thing I know it was stuck to return pump grate in the sump. A amonua 0, trite 0 trate 5-10 ph8. Any ideas what could've gone wrong with the little goby? All corals open up when led lighting ramps up. I feed mostly misys shrimp.
