So i recently posted about my Aquascaping and received a few questions about the lighting in my tank and I said i would follow up explaining what i have going on and open it up to suggestions from the club.
First i would like to say that lighting is new to me and lot of this so far has been learned on the fly or by watching endless youtube videos about my light fixture to get a better understanding so this is by no means a perfect system and is still very much a work in progress.
To start with my lighting system is a DSuny HO LED set up (2 piece) with a ramp timer, each fixture is made up of 4 channels.
Channel # 1 is 12,000K bright blue or cool white.
Channel # 2 is 395 nm to 410nm Royal Blue & Purple
Channel # 3 is 450nm 470 nm and 660 nm Blue to Ultra Violet
Channel # 4 is 18000k and 450nm Warm whites (daylight)
The channels are programmed to ramp up threw 8 time periods
mine are as follows
ch#1................ch#2........... ch#3......Ch#4
00:00 0%............ 0%.............. 0%........ 0%
07:00 0%........... 25%...07:25 15%.......10%
10:30 15%......... 50%...10:45 30%.......10%
12:00 45%......... 70%....12:30 60%.......15%
13:30 65% ........ 100%..13:15 100%.....30%
19:30 10% ........ 40%....18:45 25%.........5%
21:30 5%.......... 20%....20:00 10%.........0%
22:00 0%............ 5%.......22:00 2%........0%
**the precentage is the total intensity of the lighting in the channel
** the lights ramp up in over time slowly its not steep jumps between each time

The lights are about 12 Inches above the surface of my tank
so far this is the best lighting break down i can come up with but i am open to suggestions
