Nano ATO

So ive been looking to do a diy ATO for my nano and wondered if anyone can post how they did their nanos ATO. Im not running a sump so it will have to be in the DT. I have mixed feelings about it mostly just worried about it overflowing if the float sticks.

I just bought the Tunze nano ATO, and I could not be happier. I have it in the display tank since I do not have a sump, and you can barely see the float (it is very small). It also has a feature where it will turn off if the float sticks. Let me know if you have any questions about it.

For the tunze does the float stick at all? And does it have a snail guard?

The guard that is on top of the float would make it close impossible for anything to get on it. I have only had it for a few weeks but so far so good. If it does stick it has a timer that turns it off. The reason I went with this one is because it is in my display tank and it has a very clean look when compared to all the other options.

Do you know by chance what the max height the pump they give with the tunze will push?

The manual says the maximum pump height is 2 meters.

I ordered it on Monday and just got it in today, just installed it and so far so good! I like it and its really not that obtrusive in my DT. I only filled my top off bucket a quarter of the way just to test it out since I'm still scared of it sticking.
