Need Help with getting top off water 25 feet high to bedroom

My top off water is in my basement in a 100 gallon stock tank that is automatically filled from my ro system with all the solonoid and float switches. I have reduced the size of my system and would like to put my 55 gallon tank in my bedroom on the second floor. I have a reliable friend who has been a construction supervisor for over 10 years who is helping/doing it for me ;D. i am going to be running my top off water from the basement to my bedroom. it is about 25 feet from the basement floor to my bedroom floor. i will only be running my top off through the wall, the filter will be in my bedroom under the tank. before you ask, the reason for not running the whole system to my basement is: the system is very small, there is no interior wall in my bedroom that goes to the basement, so it is a border wall with insulation, and the vibrations in the wall against the sheet rock will cause nail pops. (so im told).

I do not want to be bothered with constantly filling a 10 gallon tank in my bedroom with ro water from my basement. this will defeat the purpose of the auto top off system. (besides it being unsightly) my ato is from autotopoff.com and i currently use an aqualifter.

FINALLY the question is what kind of pump should i use for this. it will only be used when the ato trips on. the 25 ft of head is A LOT. i am going to be using either airline tubing or the ro tubing with high psi rating. this will be in 1/2 pvc pipe for protection. if you made it this far thank you.

What we did was put a T in the RO line ran 1/4 inch hose up thru the floor into our sump and put a valve on the end so whenever our sump needs water we open the valve let fill up then shut it off when it's done. You just have to remember to shut it off. What we do is leave the cabinet door open for a reminder that it is filling.
Hope that helps.

Almost any presure rated pump should be able to push such a small column of water 25'. Try an Iwaki or a Pan World. I have a small submersible pond pump that tops off my sump from the basement through 10' of 1/2" vinyl tubing. Remember to leave a gap between the tubing and the water level or you'll siphon the sump dry.

We run our RO from our kitchen all the way across the house to the basement where it fills our top off reservior. I would simply run the RO hose to a bucket next to your tank with a kent float valve installed in it. Use your ATO from there. For our bedroom tank (65), we lug our water up to the tank's RO reservior. Since we only fill the 5g bucket once a week or so, it isn't such a big deal. The real drag is getting enough RO up there to do a water change.

I'd recommend putting a T in your RO line out and putting a small 10 gallon container in your bedroom with a Float Valve and a regular 1/4 inch line valve in it. You can then use the line pressure to fill this container up and even if you forget to shut off the line valve to the container, the Float valve will shut off your RO unit. I do this for all my auto top off needs. Turn it on in the morning, leave it on till evening and turn off the valve. This way you eliminate the need for pumps, etc just to push the RO water up to your bedroom

putting a reserve water tank of\r container in my room is out of the question, between my chiller, skimmer, sump and kalk reactor i have no more room in my 55 stand. and want nothing showing. i also need the line to make enough water for water changes for this tank and my freshwater tanks, which are in my basement, so id like to keep it there. i didnt know if anyone had this experience and knew a specific pump to use. i am going to end up buying a marine boat fishing pump from a company called sur flow which has a built in check valve, or an ro booster pump to shoot the water up from my reserve tank.
