I am basicly reduing my tank and as i look on the rocks i see white sponge like things on a bunch of rocks, is that ok? also on 2 rocks i see 2 small white things they look like tiny white feather dusters with red hair that comes out and retracts just like a feather duster what is that?

Sponge is good. As are the feather dusters. No worries on either of those.
