Need to borrow a Hang on Skimmer in Central NJ

I'm in the process of cycling my 215 gallon tank and need a hang on skimmer until it is cycled. Does anybody have a spare hang on skimmer I can borrow for a few weeks?

I don't have a hang on the back skimmer but I do have a hang on filter that I use from time to time when I make a mess in the tank. It is mechanical filtration but works great for me.

I have a HOT magnum hang on filter but I don't think thats going to help much pulling out the organics in the water. The water in the tank has literally turned yellow from the organics coming out of the Marco Rock. This is after cooking it for 3 weeks.

i have two small hang on skimmers, yuou may borrow them.

they are Red Sea Prism skimmers. might not be enough for your size tank.

The Red Sea Prizm skimmers will be small for the tank unless it is the Deluxe version. I think that is rated for upto 300 gallons.

If you are cycling a tank mechanical filter with your sump skimmer(u do have a sump??)will pull more particles than a HOB skimmer.

My sump has livestock in it so I cannot connect it to my sump just yet. I will once my levels get stabilized but until then, I need to pull out all the junk in the water.

Yea I dont think they are big enough for a 215Gal
I dont know of any Hang ons that are big enough to handle that volume

Changing water (while a waste of money if you're not pulling it from somewhere else in your system) would probably be easier and more efficient than dealing with a HOB skimmer.
