Neptune DOS Kalk stirrer

Question for APEX users, I have the trident and just recently bought a DOS (thanks again @brokereefer) along with an Avast Marine Kalk stirrer. Is it possible for the DOS to dose the kalkwasser based on trident testing? I’ve seen where you can really dial in and make the alk very stable with 2 part but I haven’t seen many threads using Kalk.

Difficult if not impossible to do with kalk as a lot depends on overall evaporation. It's really equipment for 2 part dosing.

The dose is best used for 2 part.
Kalk is really hard on pumps/ dosers.
I use a cheap $50 jebao doser to dose kalk.
I use my dos and trident to dose two part.

Thanks for the feedback guys! There will be no kalk going through the doser as it will bring fresh rodi water to the kalk stirrer and will drip out of there via gravity into the sump. Although I will be using the same reservoir as the ato, it will be independent from it so the amount of evaporation really shouldn't be an issue. I plan on doing solely kalk in the beginning until my frags start turning into mini colonies and consume more of the major elements than the kalk can handle, in which case then I will eventually combine the 2 with the kalk doing the heavy lifting. Of course plans change but that's the deal for now.

This is pretty much how i'd like to set it up. He just set a specific ml/day and went with that instead of letting the trident adjust the dosing rate.
