New Addtion arrived...

Kaila Rose Nucum - Born 6:59am 2-6-09 7lbs 3oz 20" long.

Baby Kaila Rose is doing ok and we almost had her deliver on rt 287 :).. My wife had a contraction at 4:45 am and 5 am we decided that we are going to the hospital. Took us 50mins to leave the house since I have to dress up Tara and Sean . We left at 5:55 am and I was driving 100mph since my wife was screamin so loud .. We got in the hospital around 6:40 and once thing you know the baby just came out.. The doctor didn't even have the time to put gloves... It took my wife 2 really loud scream and push. It was too late for Epidoral ..Then Kaila came out 6:59am ...

Last night we got home at 10pm and really exhausted and still have to take care of my other 2. Both Tara and Sean are knockout as well.


Thanks again ... I can really say my hands are full...

lol, that's the best story steve. here i am googling epidoral.... and that's gotta be the quickest delivery i've heard!

Congrats Steve! That delivery story sounds all too famliar seeing as Sierra born at 105mph on the Parkway (somewhere aound mile marker 99) and Zach was almost born on Broad Street in Red Bank (Phyl was rushed straight past the ER and just barely made it to the delivery room). I know EXACTLY how wild that is.

You gals/guys are SO lucky with the quick deliveries. John, Phyl, did I read this right? Sierra was born on the Parkway? NO WAY! (faint)

Congratulations!

We went the drug route for both the kids...pitocin and epidural. One more day and your third would be sharing birthdays with my second. ;)

I don't know how you did it with two others (bringing them that is). Our friends across the street were expecting their third (now since born) and we agreed to watch the two younger kids in case they had to race to the hospital.

Anyway life is busy now and today Mommy and Kaila are came home... My Son is the one we have to keep an eye on since he is only turning one in 2 weeks and he doesn't know yet whats going on :)...
