After 36 years (actually longer because that's as long as we've owned the house) the filter on the 20K gallon tank in the backyard required change. I've been milking this thing the past couple years. This year, on start up, it coughed, and I told the wife I'm not even opening it up. My only complaint is that when they put the word "Pool" on something, that $50 piece of plastic is now $500.
