New qt tank!!! Does it need to be circle?

I’m thinking of getting one on the fly to QT some lps! How long after filling it out I can add coral?

Hey what’s up. No qt tanks don’t need to be cycled.
Don’t add fish just coral you will be fine. Use your tank water and you can add bacteria if you have some but I wouldn’t worry to much.

Thanks Amado!! It’s a temporary thing for a few weeks! I don’t have enough time to care for another tank right now lol
