They are relatively easy, just keep your parameters steady and you should be alright. Another major factor for the Pocillopora is the lighting, what type of lighting do you currently have?

If there's not enough food - it will get rid of the top (since it takes a lot to maintain) and grow another. It cannot do this indefinitely though. Try and dose some phyto in there!
