hi , welcome to nj reefers.......
im looking to get a new tank and have been thinking about the red sea max250 but none of the lfs have one set up as a demo so i am still on the fence
i have a few questions if you dont mind answering them.....
how good does the skimmer work? is it a pain to service/ clean...
is the tank noisy in your opinion & are you satisfied with the tank as a whole ?
would you recomend it others?

i saw on one of your other posts you were asking about sending a pm. Pms are allowed for folks who meet a minimum post threshold. That doesn't mean though we encourage folks to spam to get to that minimum. This is to prevent spammers from opening an acct and sending pm spams.

Anyways - nice clean-looking tank. how long have you had it?

the skimmer was a real pain in the a@@ at first for about 3 weeks i was playing with it for 20 mins a day but once it broke in it is very simple to work with now

the only pain is getting to it but i have a small step ladder so it is simple i also have a litte 2 gallon wet vac that i clean it with take it out about every 2 weeks for a good scrub down

as for noise if you didnt see the water flowing you wouldnt know if it was on or not(very quiet tank)

i would recommend this tank to anyone

thank you tank has been up and running for 8 weeks now

did not know they came out with the 65 what did it set u back and can u put up a pic of the whole tank from across the room

I PAID 1450 FOR THE TANK AND STAND GOT IT FROM TROPIQUARIUM

Wow, a great-looking setup. Welcome to the club.

Watch out that those green star polyps don't take over your rocks; they can be pretty agressive.
