I'm just wondering how many "newbies" have won frags at their first meeting? I won 3 frags at my first one. Seems to be a pattern ;D

My first meeting in August last year, I won a Green Paly rock donated by RichT. The second meeting won a large mat of GSP. All the while, the vets were grumbing about newbie's beginner's luck! Moral of the story: If you come to your first meeting, BUY RAFFLES!

I feel like I won too many so I am going to try and donate at the next meeting so long as everything keeps growing at the rate it is.

I won a few at the first and second meeting I went to. Maybe its because newbies still have money to gamble with and the veterans spent all their money to keep the hobby going! ;D Thats what I am learning..... THIS HOBBY COSTS MONEY!!!! :'(


But its worth it when you can sit in front of the tank and be amazed for hours!

I remember Brian and others telling me that newbies alway win big there first meeting, so I bought a bunch of tics knowing full well I dont win anytime. I figured oh yeah watch this. I WON NOTHING. NADA SILCH But hey thats just me LOL. Bobb
