Nitrates

Just got my HR Hanna tester and it said my nitrates are under range- even did the test twice. I also did a test with Salivert and the results said 25- I assume that the Hanna is correct- I've been dosing NoPoX- guess I should cut back on the dosing- I have the LR Nitrate kit- will check with that too

I agree, just the difference with test kits got me- I've been using the Salifert for a while and was reading much higher than 25- more like 50-75- why I started dosing

Oh I see. There's always going to be a discrepancy between brands

Are you 100% sure you are reading salifert correctly. When you look through the side of it you should be dividing by 10

1 mm of liquid in bottom is over the top view, through side is 10 mm (never measured, just assumed) therefore divide the color result by 10 through the side

This is to clarify in case you’re looking through the side and are like 50 …. That’s 5
