Hey folks!

Curious to see what everyone picked up today, hopefully you all had some luck picking up some good deals.

As for me, I snagged a couple nice pieces
1. Shades of Fall acro from 5th alarm corals
2. HG Torch from Cruzn corals
3. Rainbow acan

Freebie corals
1. Mystery zoa, hasn’t opened yet. Possibly rastas
2. Candy cane

i should have talked to the reef nutrition and dinkins folks, but it was so hard to focus on anything with so much hot coral around.

really saw some amazing chalices at the second or third vendor on the right when you walked in the door. either david's aquarium or rhino reef, not sure which. reminds me, was lakeside reefing there? wanted to find out where they were from, i think they are from a less populated area in north jersey where i grew up, but not sure.

anyway, there were two super bright chalices there, something like $250 or more for a frag, one grew in a beautiful bowl. i'm coming around to the place where standout corals like that might be worth it if you go for less coral and bigger colonies. hard to have that patience and self control though for me.

i ended up with a dragon soul torch from jay's exotic that was a couple heads and like half price for a single head, a lot of blue raven blastos from daniel connor and a tiny frag of goniopora from reefco that has a violet purple mouth and flourescent lime green tentacle tips. i've only seen that strain at lazy's coral house before.

saw and asked about some really nice looking acros, but i'm having a hard time still spending a hundo on a frag.

would have liked to spend a bit more time and chat and look for deals, but i had my daughter with me and i think an hour was about our time limit.

hope everyone scored some nice stuff. my first show and its pretty cool to have so many options at decent prices available at once.

turn-out was really good at this swap.. a bit too good at first lol. it was super crowded, but later on around 2-3PM, it was much easier to navigate and score some good deals

if one of those chalices you were eyeing up was a jelly bean chalice, i can frag one up for ya

Sorry I couldn’t make the show I had to help without first home wrestling match and coach my son! We’re in Midland Park btw, from Oakland.
