NJRC Chat Room is a Joke!

I have been sitting here for almost an hour waiting for the chat room to open only to get a message stating, and I quote, "internet connection having trouble attempting to clear it up please wait". I have been online for 2 hours now and have not had any problems, as soon as I try to load that stupid Java crap on my computer and I have nothing but trouble, Sun needs to take everything named "java" put it in a Weber and burn it!!! Everytime I run my anti virus stuff I find 2 viruses in Java, and I can't load my game rooms without that stupid file, you know, the one on your desktop thats named "java web start". Man this is frustrating!!!
Not happy at the moment.

The whole reason that we're using the java chat is because it allows connection via any IRC client:

If this Java chat client does not work for you, you can use your own IRC client to connect to 'irc.everywherechat.com:6667', or use our CGI-based chat client (currently limited to 4 concurrent users) which is accessible through a link at the bottom of the chat login screen.

Hopefully one of those two options will work for you. This has been the most flexible option we've had to date which should allow everyone to find a way that works for them!
