LOL, thanks, never seen one either, just glad it wasnt eating any coral as far as I could tell. Its not a Lettuce Nudi and I have no idea how it got in my tank, as I dip everything. It was very cool looking, but unfortunately I couldnt risk putting it back in the tank.

Hope it's a good one.. are you going to keep it in the sump for now?

Actually Sid he is long gone, I couldnt risk it multiplying and getting into the system if it was a predator Nudi.

That's the only option unless you could QT a critter like that away from the system. They spread like crazy and no filter pad will stop it.

You're lucky you found it!

There are lots of people who study these for science and the pharmaceutical industry. The now defunct Sea Slug Forum used to have all kinds of people interested in acquiring nudibranchs.

Interesting, I went to the seaslug forum, not realizing that it had become "inactive". I wish I would have had a means to care for it.

Well I just found another one in my frag tank after the lights went out. I observed it for about 10 min and it didnt touch any coral, just basically cruised around, so I am hoping its just a grazing nudi.

Oddly, when I flashed a flashlight on it it curled up on the side of a frag disc and was camouflaged to look like a piece of algae. Quite incredible. Jeff LMK how to get in touch with the potential buyers. LOL
