Nudibranch ID needed

I found this guy crawling around my tank. Any idea if he is a threat to my coral?

There are thousands of nudibranchs. HERE’s a link that has a mere 36 thousand-plus pictures of nudi’s. Happy hunting!

You might be able to go the “identification” section and submit your picture.

Pretty sure it was some sort of zoo eating one as it was on a zoo colony. Guess the revive didn't work.

How long have you had the frag? The Revive works on hatched nudis but the eggs aren't killed by dipping. It coulld be from that.

It was on a colony I got from the Frag swap. I noticed it has been closed up. I pulled a few off. I will just have to keep my eyes open and watch everything closely.

Yep, that looks like a Zoo eating Naudi. I battled them for almost two months in my BioCube. I would wait till lights out and check the tank with a flashlight and use an eye dropper to suck out the adults. I also did weekly dips of all my frags and removed quite a few egg clusters. Look for small white, round (almost donut like) clusters in a clear mucus. The eggs and mucus can be hard to remove, I had to use tweezers to get the eggs off.

Hope you can get of them Paul. Do you happen to know which vendor you bought these zoas from? Not trying to give someone a bad rep, but others who bought from them might want to be warned to look out for this pest.

I did see eggs and removed them. I have been watching and picking them out with tweezers and dipping the zoos again. Figures my luck when I decide to switch over to a zoo/softy tank. lol.
