OCTOPUS SKIMMERS(NW 200 - EXTREME)

anyone here have any experience/knowledge of Octopus skimmers? I was looking at the NW 200 and saw theyre coming out with an extreme series soon. I've heard they're compatible with ASM except these can be used in sump or external.

Pete, I have an NW-150.

Get the gate valve mod if you do it. Adjusting the stand pipe is a ROYAL PAIN!

Otherwise I like it.

I have the Octopus NW-200 and love it. We did the gate mod ourselves, it was a breeze.

From what I've read, the EXTREME is being compared with the BM (Bubble Master). Sounds quite promising to me, actually.

...and Pete, I did get mine from them (Marine Solutions), not the other place. I just double-checked. But I don't have the EXTREME model.

I'm definitely going to wait until the exreme series is out because i just read the specs on the nw-200 and its only rated for up to 175g. hopefully the extreme 200 is rated higher as the 250 price is $475...ouch!!
