Optimal water level for ASM G4+ skimmer

Well i got my skimmer today and i've been searching the net for information regarding how high the water level in the sump needs to be. Does anyone have any ideas on how high the water level needs to be for this skimmer. I'm guessing 8-10". Any information would be greatly appreciated.

ADHI makes their sumps to fit ASM skimmer specifically ... check the ADHI 65's (fits ASMG4) Skimmer section baffle hight and you should have your answer.

10 in. seems about right. I have a g4X and that turns out to be just above where the elbow from the pump enters the skimmer.
