We picked up a 90 gallon acrylic aquarium that needed a lot of work. After watching youtube videos on the process of refinishing acrylic we would give it a try. It couldn't get no worse then what it was.
It was scratched and had a terrible haze thru the acrylic. After using 4 different degrees of sandpaper and the Novus system and burning out my brand new waxer polisher this is what the tank looked like when I finished it
We got a stand from someone on craigslist that when we called about it he said it was in excellent condition. Of course the day we go to pick it up it falls down steps and is broken. So we decided to take it anyway. We knew we could fix it so we brought it home did a little work to it and this is what the tank looks like in our living room.
Now are Carpet Nems have plenty room to stretch out. By the picture you can tell it looks like they are stuck by glue. I guess eventually they will figure out they have more room.
