Overflow and return sizing

I am now the proud owner of Ed's frag tank the he bought from Billy! I've been thinking about redoing the sumps in the basement and this seems like a prme time to do it. I wanted to run some idea's past you all before I drain more water on the basement floor.

on my 150 display I've have 2 1.5" drains and 1 1.5" return powered by a Sequence Brarcuda. According to the low calculator on reef Central a 1 1/2 inch pipe moves about 1300 GPH, a 2 inch pipe moves around 2400 GPH and a 2 1/2 inch pipe 3700.

Currently, the two overflows train into two separate sump areas and are then returned to the display tank by the barracuda. My plan is to bring both drains into one manifold and then fee each tank of the sump system from there.

The big question is to the main part of the manifold be built on 2 or 2 1/2 inch PVC?

do they even make 2 1/2" pvc?

the price difference between 2 and 3" is huge...

i guess the big question now is... will 2" be enough
