hi. I have a 220 fish tank with a built in overflow. I found my clown fish in it and the other in my sump. Any ideas to prevent this. I thought about placing a screen, but I thought I wasn't sure if that was the best idea. I was worried that the clowns would jump on the screen and die.

Yea, using a screen is what you'll need to do. It will have to be cleaned often, as the fine screen easily gets algae growing on it.

If you are worried about trapping a fish on the screen, you could build it out of a stiff nylon material and build it so that it's a couple inches away from the overflow.
