Paly Remediation

I've read that calk can be used to cull back fast growing palys, either with a paste, or by injecting them.

Where does one get a syringe to do this? or when smothering, how do you mix/apply it? I wanted to start adding calk to my top ff water anyway and figured I'd use it to thin the play herd too.

Aiptasia ex comes with a great syringe that you can reuse. I am sure the aiptasia x will work too.

You need to hit em when open, I find it may not kill them but rather knock em down for a bit and then they come back.

I have been trying Kalk in my own experiement and it's easy to apply and harmless. You can use a turkey baster to remove the Kalk so it won't cause a big alk swing. However the first pass won't kill them all most likely you would need a few more passes.

I do have a patch in the back of the tank that's hard to reach. I placed a piece of Fire Chalice in the middle hopefully it will sting them to death. I wonder what the most aggressive coral is that can be used for this purpose ...

Started applying kalk past. It really works!

Once they are dead, do I scrape them off or leave them? Right now they are white and gooey.
