peppermint shrimp reef safe?

Are peppermint shrimp safe for a mixed reef? Was going to throw in a few for aptasia.

They are reef safe. They are hit or miss with aptasia.

+1 to above. They will eat aptasia but generlly if there is no other food and the aptasia are small. Every now and again a rogue peppermint might pick on some LPS but that is very few an far between.

IME they will go after larger aptasia if they are weakened (i.e. after they're hit with kalk paste).

I added four peps to my 40 breeder, lets see what happens. I have good success with injecting them with vinegar, they are just reproducing fast and in places that I can not reach.

I had one that liked to munch on zoas. But I believe that's not the norm.

Have had 2 in my 90 for awhile and never had a problem with them, you should be fine.

I put 5 in my old tank to rid my rocks of aptasia never saw them touch anything but apt.
